Police said that Yashveer Singh told the police that due to financial constraints he had killed his mother Kavita (46 years), sister Meghna (24 years) and brother Mukul (14 years).

Police said that Yashveer Singh is a resident of Mangal Bazar area. As soon as the information was received, the police team immediately reached the given address, where the bodies of the three were found inside the house. FSL team has reached the incident and is investigating on the spot. The entire family is said to be originally from Sonipat, Haryana. The father of the accused is a farmer and lives there. The wife of the accused also lived here, but her whereabouts are not known yet.

According to the police, the accused first fed laddus to everyone. Due to this everyone became unconscious and after that all three were strangulated to death. The accused was earlier a truck driver but was unemployed for about six months. He had also attempted suicide earlier. At present, the police is considering financial crisis as the reason for the murder.
