Jagran correspondent, outer Delhi. A case of knife attack on two youths working at a Chole-Bhatura shop has come to light in Jahangirpuri police station area due to a dispute over money transaction. The accused committed the crime in the Sunday market on Sunday evening and fled.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and sent the injured to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. Where after first aid, both the injured were referred by the police to another hospital. Where the condition of both remains critical. The police have registered a case under relevant sections and are searching for the accused.
According to the information, at around 5 pm on December 28, PCR received information about two youths being stabbed in the chest in the Sunday Market of E-Block, Jahangirpuri. Police reached the spot and immediately took injured Ranjit Yadav and Ajay to BJRM Hospital. It has been confirmed that Ranjit had a knife in his chest while Ajay had a knife on his left side near his ribs. The condition of both is said to be serious, due to which the doctors have referred them to a higher medical center for better treatment.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that both the injured youths work at a shop named 'Jai Shri Ram Bhature Wala' located in the Sunday Market. Police say that the injured youth had a dispute with a youth named Prince and his two other associates over money transaction, after which the attack was carried out.
At present the police is trying to record the statements of the injured. There is an atmosphere of fear in the area after the incident. Police are raiding possible locations in search of the accused. Police officials said that the investigation of the case is going on and the accused will be caught soon.
