Haroli Police has registered a case under the Arms Act against a young man who made a video of himself waving a pistol while sitting in a car to the tune of a Punjabi song and uploaded it on the internet media. The police had received information that a video made by a young man openly displaying his weapon was being circulated rapidly on the internet media.

Showed the pistol in an intimidating manner

In the video, the young man was seen showing the pistol in public in a careless and panic-inducing manner. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police immediately started investigation. During investigation, the youth was identified as Prakash Mankotiya, resident of Panjawar Tehsil Haroli, District Una. Police have registered the case and are searching for the youth.

Police alert after the shooting

The police is on full alert after the recent firing in Una district. In view of security, all the arms license holders have been deposited in the arms police stations. In such a situation, where did the said youth get the weapon from, remains an important subject of police investigation. The police have also appealed to the general public that if they see any such suspicious activity, they should immediately inform the police.

SP Una Amit Yadav says that any attempt to spread fear or wrong message in the society by displaying weapons on internet media will not be tolerated. Whether the weapon is legal or illegal. If any person tries to spread panic or threaten through internet media, strict action will be taken against him.
