Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will review the four-lane road being built from Navgachia to Chaudharydih and from Bhagalpur Aliganj bypass police station to Bhaljor (Hansdiha). The review will be done on Monday through video conferencing. In which many senior officials including the Regional Officer of Morth, Chief Engineer of NH, Engineer and Chief will participate in the review.
According to NH officials, preparations are being made from Bhagalpur to Patna for the minister's review on Monday. What problems are being faced in these development works in the review. What steps have been taken so far or are being taken at the local level to solve the problem. So that the plan can be completed on the target by construction of roads regularly without any hindrance. During this period, there is also a possibility of reviewing the four-lane bridge being built on the Ganga river.
Actually, the construction of the four-lane bridge was to be completed by the year 2027. But due to delay in getting the drawing of one pillar approved, its construction will be delayed. Now the construction of four lane bridge at Harhal is to be completed by April 2028. By the time the four-lane bridge is built, it is necessary to complete the construction of the four-lane road from Navgachia to Chaudharydih. Because even after the bridge is built, it will not be operational until the four lane is built.
Therefore, the initiative towards construction of Navgachia-Chaudharidih four lane road has also been expedited. Work is being done to select the agency by April and start road construction in June. The ministry also has special attention on this four-lane road. NOC from Forest and Environment Department is not required for this road. Action will be taken to remove electric poles and wires. There is no special problem of land acquisition. Action will be taken to remove encroachment from NH land in 60-70 places. In which no problem will arise.
Officials said that the tender for Bhagalpur-Hansdiha four lane road to be built in two phases from Bhagalpur Aliganj bypass police station to Dhakamod and from Dhakamod to Bhaljor has been sent to the ministry. Government land has to be used for road construction and work is being done in this direction to ensure minimum acquisition of private land. The load on this route is very high. Therefore, the ministry insists on starting the construction of this road soon.
