Chief Secretary SP Goyal has given instructions to exercise special monitoring and vigilance on the dates and shifts in which the examinations of these subjects are held.

UP Board Exam 2026 The subjects for which special caution has to be taken include six high school subjects and 11 intermediate subjects. Keeping in mind the allegations of mass copying and attempts at question paper leak in the past years, sensitive districts and subjects have been identified.
Board Secretary sent the list to these officers
In the matter of UP Board Exam 2026, UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has sent the list/time table of sensitive districts, subjects and exam shifts to Divisional Commissioners, DM, Police Commissioner/SSP/SP, Additional Secretaries of regional offices, Divisional Joint Education Directors and District School Inspectors.

From the point of view of UP Board Exam 2026 exam, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Prayagraj, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Hardoi, Kannauj, Azamgarh, Ballia, Mau, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Deoria and Gonda have been included in the list of sensitive districts. In these, special vigilance will be taken in the examination of Hindi, Social Science, Home Science, English, Science and Mathematics subjects of high school, while special monitoring will be done in the examination of Hindi, Civics, English, History, Biology, Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry, Sociology, Geography and Physics subjects of Intermediate.
Strict action will be taken if the sanctity of question papers and examinations is affected.
According to this list, copying mafia and anti-social elements have already been identified and instructions have been given by the Chief Secretary to take action against them. It has also been said that the District Magistrate should hold a meeting under his chairmanship and ensure and review the arrangements. If the sanctity of the question papers and examination is affected, action will be taken against the culprits under the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act-2024, which has a provision of life imprisonment and a fine of up to Rs 1 crore.
