Education Desk, New Delhi. High school and intermediate board examinations will be organized by the Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh, Prayagraj from 18 February to 12 March 2026. Admit cards of students for the exam have been made available for download, which students can get by going to their school and contacting the principal or class teacher. Tell all the students that they must compulsorily carry the admit card with them to the examination centre.

You will be able to give board exam even if you forget the admit card, but remember this

According to the details shared by the UP Board, even if the students forget to take the admit card to the center in a hurry, they will still be able to appear for the exam. But, this will depend on the discretion of the teacher at the examination centre. However, if the teacher allows you to take the exam then students will have to present the admit card in the next paper. If the student does not bring the admit card with him even in the next day's examination, he can be prevented from appearing in the board examination.

Exam will be held in two shifts

UP Board examinations will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift examination will be conducted from 8:30 am to 11:45 am and the second shift examination will be conducted from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. 5230297 students have registered in the UP Board High School and Intermediate Board examinations. There are 2750945 students registered in the high school, out of which 1438683 are boys and 1312263 are girls. Apart from this, 2479352 students have registered in class 12th, out of which 1303012 are boys and 1176340 are girls.

Students who leave practicals will be able to re-appear in the exam

Those students going to participate in the UP Board examinations who could not appear in the practical exam due to some reason will also be given a chance by the board. After completion of theory exams, practical exams will be organized again for such students. Students will be able to save their year from getting spoiled by participating in it.
