State Bureau, Jagran, Lucknow: The process of direct recruitment has started for 537 vacant posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk) and Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts) in Uttar Pradesh Police. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released its release on its website on Saturday.
Candidates can apply online for 537 vacant posts of direct recruitment till January 19. According to the Recruitment Board, information about important instructions regarding eligibility for recruitment, process of applying online, process of depositing fees, educational qualification, preferential qualification, proforma of certificates, written examination, syllabus, reservation, age limit etc. has been made available on the website https://uppbpb.gov.in.
Appointments to 537 posts
A total of 537 posts will be appointed through this recruitment. Out of these, 112 posts are reserved for Sub Inspector of Police (Confidential), 311 posts are reserved for Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Clerk) and 114 posts are reserved for Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Accounts). As per the application timetable, the application fee can be deposited till January 19 and the adjustment of the deposited fee can be done till January 22. Interested and eligible candidates can complete the application process only through online medium to join the recruitment.
To apply for SI and ASI Clerk posts, it is mandatory for the candidates to be a graduate from a recognized university/institute. Along with this, Hindi typing should be 25 words per minute, English typing should be 30 words per minute and 'O' level certificate holder from DOEACC or NIELIT.
To participate in the recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and maximum age should not be more than 28 years. Age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st July 2025. Youth coming from reserved category will get relaxation in upper age.
To fill the UP Police Recruitment 2025 application form, first visit the official website. Click on the apply link of SI-ASI recruitment on the home page of the website. After this, click on registration and do OTR. Now you complete the form by filling other details through login. Pay the prescribed fee as per category and submit the form.
Unreserved, EWS and OBC categories will have to pay Rs 500 as fees. The application fee for SC, ST category candidates is fixed at Rs 400. Fee payment can be done online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI.
