Recruitment is going on for 41,424 vacant posts of Home Guard in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh, the last date of application for joining is fixed as 17 December 2025. In such a situation, candidates who have not been able to fill the form till now due to some reason, should fill the application form without any delay by visiting the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) uppbpb.gov.in or portal upprpb.in. The application window will close after tomorrow.
Only 10th pass eligible for recruitment
To apply for UP Home Guard posts, the candidate must be a resident of the same district from where he/she is applying. The candidate must have passed 10th class. Minimum age should not be more than 18 years and maximum age should not be more than 30 years. SC, ST and OBC categories have been given relaxation in upper age. Age will be calculated from the day the registration starts. You will also get the benefit of one to three points of NCC and Bharat Scout and Guide certificate. Three points will be given to Aapda Mitra training certificate holders and one additional point will be given to driving license (four wheeler) holders.

Along with the application, candidates belonging to general, backward class and EWS category will have to deposit a fee of Rs 400. The application fee for SC, ST category has been fixed at Rs 300. Application fee can be paid through online mode.
