UP Police YES ASI Vacancy 2026

Job Desk, New Delhi. There is big news for the youth who are dreaming of government job in the police department. In UP, recruitment is being done for the posts of Sub Inspector (Confidential), Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk/Accounts), the last date of application for joining is today i.e. 19th January. In such a situation, all the youth who are eligible for SI and ASI posts and have not yet filled the form can immediately fill the form online by visiting the official website of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) uppbpb.gov.in.

What is the qualification for SI-ASI posts?

To apply for SI and ASI Clerk posts, candidates must have passed graduation from a recognized university/institution. Along with this, Hindi typing should be 25 words per minute, English typing should be 30 words per minute and 'O' level certificate from DOEACC or NIELIT. The minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and maximum age should not be more than 28 years. Age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st July 2025. Youth coming from reserved category will get relaxation in upper age.

In this recruitment, along with filling the application form, unreserved, EWS and OBC categories will have to deposit a fee of Rs 500. The application fee for SC, ST category is fixed at Rs 400. Fee can be paid through online mode.

There will be appointments on 537 posts

A total of 537 posts will be recruited through this recruitment. Out of the total posts, 112 posts are reserved for Sub Inspector of Police (Confidential), 311 posts are reserved for Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Clerk) and 114 posts are reserved for Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Accounts).
