The consumer says that in the month of November also the meter reading was done after several trips. Now the December bill came in the month of January after hearing many requests, there is no mention of meter reading in it and the bill has come as 8583. Case two consumer Sanjeev Aggarwal's account number is 1674600000. Bill not received for many months. With great difficulty the wrong bill was given to him. Then complained on helpline number 1912 and then without modifying the bill, a bill of Rs 5578 was made. The consumer alleges that the meter reader is not available. Bills are never received on time, now even the amendments are not being done properly. The cost of electricity is one thing and the bill is being made something else. These are just a few cases, which show that meter readers are not reaching consumers' homes. In such a situation, consumers are not getting electricity bills on time. If self-reading is not restarted, the biggest problem will be faced by those consumers who are correct and pay the bill for the electricity they consume in the first week of the month.
Such consumers argue that the department should take strict action against those consumers who do store readings. The facility for genuine consumers should not be stopped until the facility of pre-paid smart meter is started in the entire capital. Because meter readers are sending bills by filling table reading i.e. reading at home, which is going wrong.
