Uzbek Female Prisoner Attempted Suicide By Banging Her Head On The Wall, Arrested By Police On Nepal Border On 28 December

Jagran correspondent, Siddharthnagar. Jarnigor Tukhtaboeva, an Uzbekistani woman caught without valid documents on the India-Nepal border, had tried to commit suicide by banging her head on the wall on January 1. Tukhtaboeva was caught by Sashastra Seema Bal personnel at Badhani border on December 28 and handed over to the police.

On reaching jail after her arrest, Tukhtaboeva injured herself by banging her head on the wall. There was no improvement in his condition even on Sunday. After the situation worsened, the jail administration admitted him to the medical college. Assistant Professor of Psychiatry Department, Dr. Piyush Shukla told that the woman is in depression.

There is difficulty in treatment due to not understanding his language. The woman has also been made to talk to an intern doctor who has done MBBS from Uzbekistan. Jail Superintendent Sachin Verma said that the woman had tried to physically harm herself after banging her head on the wall.
