Verification Of Duplicate Voters In Agra: More Than 8 Lakh Such Voters, If Aadhaar Is Not Given Then They Will Be Thrown Out.

Vidyaram Narwar, Agra. There are eight lakh 78 thousand 110 duplicate voters in the district. Whose verification is to be done by 20th February. Where the family is living. Where the native is a resident, the name of such voter will be included in the voter list. For this Aadhar card will have to be given. In case of non-submission of Aadhaar card, the name may be struck off from the voter list. Therefore, do not be careless in any way. Verification work is going on.

Block development officers made nodal for duplicate voter verification

There are 878110 duplicate voters in the Panchayat electoral roll. The State Election Commission has given instructions to get such duplicate voters verified. Their verification has to be done development block wise. The Block Development Officer of the concerned development block has been made the nodal.

Verification will continue till February 20, after which the final publication of the voter list will take place on March 28.

Development block wise list was provided. On the basis of which, verification of duplicate voters is being done at the Gram Panchayat level. To help the BLO in this work, village level personnel will be appointed and both will jointly do the verification work. Due to which the duplicate voters will remain at their actual place of residence, so that the name can be deleted as per the rules.

Four digits of Aadhaar are required

Aadhar card will have to be given during verification. The four digits on the back of the Aadhar card are mandatory. Voters will also have to take interest in verification.

Verification by 20th February Final publication of list on 28th March

Verification of duplicate voters is being done. Development block wise list has been provided. The verification work will continue till February 20. So that the final publication of the voter list can be correct.
