But now the reality of this video has come to light. The name of the bride is Shruti Dahuja. He himself has come forward and told the truth. She is now known as 'Famous Bride Meets Her Ex'. Shruti said that the entire video was scripted and it was uploaded against her wishes.
What happened in the viral video?
The video starts with a car. Content creator Aarav Mavi is driving the car. On the other hand, Shruti Dahuja is sitting in bridal attire and talking on the phone. In the video, it is told that there are only two hours left for the ceremony to begin, but the bride is going to meet her ex for the last time. It was claimed that the girl's family is pressurizing her to get married, hence she is getting married under compulsion.
Shruti gets down from the car, meets X, talks, hugs and comes back crying. This scene was so emotional that people considered it real. The video got millions of views within a few days and started being shared everywhere.

Now what did Shruti Dahuja say in clarification?
On December 19, 2025, Shruti shared a video on her Instagram. In this he expressed his views for the first time. Shruti said, "You all must have seen this video, the bride in it is me. So, the content creator for whom I had made this video, let me tell you that this video was not uploaded with my consent. I was a last moment actress. That guy uploaded the video directly. He did not ask me. He later put a clarification where he said that it is scripted."
Shruti told that she was selected for this role at the last moment. He hoped that Aarav Mavi would share the video responsibly, like by tagging or doing a collab and making it clear that it is just acting. But nothing like this happened.
After the video went viral, Shruti and her family faced heavy trolling. People started questioning his character. Even his parents were unnecessarily dragged. Shruti said that this caused mental stress to her and her family.
