Entertainment Desk, New Delhi. Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt and his wife Shwetambari had to go to jail in a fraud case of Rs 30 crore. Now after 71 days both have been released from jail.
Vikram Bhatt came out of jail on Friday after getting bail from the Supreme Court. After coming out of jail, he talked to the media about his case and the days spent in jail.
Vikram Bhatt released after two and a half months
Vikram Bhatt said, "I have spent two and a half months in jail. I not only had hope, but I also had full faith in the law and order here. I knew that the truth would definitely come out. I made a friend in the jail who told me about the nature of the soil of Mewar. He told me that in the soil of Mewar, truth can be troubled, but it cannot be defeated. I am leaving from here wearing a tilak of the same soil of Mewar, here the truth will always win."
Vikram trusts the law
Referring to Lord Krishna, Vikram Bhatt said, "This is the fifth Dham. I am a devotee of Lord Krishna. I have been at the same place where Lord Krishna was born. Understand that I am coming out twice as good as before. Like Lord Krishna, I have to fight a new battle. I do not want to say much about law and order. I have full faith in the legal system of this country. Whatever justice is done will be in the interest of everyone."

Why was Vikram Bhatt arrested?
Vikram Bhatt and his wife were arrested by Rajasthan Police from Mumbai in December in a fraud case of Rs 30 crore. Vikram and his wife were accused of committing fraud related to a film project by Vikram and Shwetambari Bhatt. The complainant claimed that he had given money to Vikram's company for the production of four films but it was misused.
