Etmadpur police caught the accused of murder: Photo- Available by police
Samvad Sutra, Jagran, Etmadpur. On the orders of the High Court, the police arrested three convicts who were sentenced to life imprisonment in the case of murder of 5 members of their family including their own cousin over a property dispute 42 years ago in village Dharaira of Etmadpur police station area and sent them to jail.

Inspector Alok Singh told that in the year 1983, Sukh Swaroop of village Dharaira, mother Katori Devi, wife Rajwati, 7 year old son Shyam and 2 year old daughter Kallo were murdered. Since no one in the family survived, the then constable Rampal, posted at the police station, had filed a case against unknown people. During the police investigation, a property dispute in the family came to light and the names of the deceased's family, Gaj Singh Pal, Ajay Pal, Rajpal, Rampal, Sajjan Pal, Keshpal, Sugar Pal and Manik Chand, were revealed.
