Dialogue partner, Jagran Rohtak. A tense situation arose on Saturday over a plot dispute in village Kahnour of Kalanaur police station area, when the fight between the two parties turned violent. There was a dispute going on between two groups in village Kahnour for a long time regarding a plot.
It is being told that on Saturday, about 8 to 10 youths traveling in four vehicles attacked village Kahnour. It is alleged that these people had come armed with sticks with the intention of taking possession of the disputed plot. As soon as both the parties came face to face, a scuffle broke out, which soon turned into a violent clash.
According to eyewitnesses, aerial firing was also done during the fight, which created an atmosphere of panic in the village. Hearing the sound of firing, people nearby hid in their homes and there was chaos on the spot. After the incident, the accused party fled leaving all four vehicles on the spot.
As soon as the information was received, Kahnour outpost incharge reached the spot with the police team and controlled the situation. Police inspected the spot and started questioning the villagers. The vehicles left at the spot have been taken into custody by the police. The police is investigating the entire matter seriously. At present, police force has been deployed in the village as a precautionary measure, so that any untoward incident can be prevented.
