Weather Changed In Himachal, Temperature Dropped Due To Fresh Snowfall; Snowfall On The Hills Of Manali And Lahaul

Snowfall has started in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh.

Jagran correspondent, Manali. The weather has changed in Himachal Pradesh. The entire state was cloudy since morning and snowfall started in the mountains in the afternoon. Snowfall is occurring on the hills from Dhauladhar to Manali and Kinnaur. Due to change in the weather, the temperature has dropped once again. Fresh snowfall has occurred in Kunjam, Shinkula and Baralacha passes including Rohtang Pass, which is the first choice of tourists in summer. A white sheet of snow has also spread in the high altitude areas of the North and South portals of Atal Tunnel. Although till now the snowfall has been limited to the high altitude areas, but by night the expectation of snowfall has increased in the tourist places of Lahaul Valley and Manali also.

Cold increased due to fresh snowfall

On Monday morning, snow fell in all the high altitude areas of Pattan, Gahar and Chandra valley including Mayad valley of Lahaul. The cold has increased due to snowfall in the high altitude areas. The movement of four by four vehicles in Manali-Zanskar valley remained smooth amid light snowfall in Shinkula Pass on Monday.

Snowfall expected in Manali also

Farmers Gyalsan, Tashi Paljor and Deepak of Lahaul said that the valley is cloudy, due to which there is hope of snowfall. On the other hand, there is hope of snowfall in Manali Valley also due to cloudy sky. Snow fell in Rahninaala and Madhi along with Rohtang Pass.
