Jagran correspondent, Ayodhya. Like previous days, the cold wave continued throughout the day on Wednesday too. Sun God was definitely seen in the afternoon, but due to the influence of mountain winds, people remained shivering due to freezing cold.
There was fog in the morning, which gradually started clearing as the day progressed. The sun kept playing hide and seek. After noon, clouds and fog again spread. The impact of the melting cold became more severe. People remained sitting in front of the bonfire throughout the day. Heaters and bonfires kept burning in shops at many places. The minimum and maximum temperatures were below normal.
On the other hand, the weather is expected to improve from Thursday evening. There are chances of sunshine. With this, the weather will start improving, in which there will be relief from chill and the temperature of day and night will increase. The weather is expected to remain clear till January 11.
According to meteorologists, the temperature will start falling again from January 12. Scientists said that western disturbance is behind the change in weather since Thursday.
A clear change in the weather will be visible from the evening of January 8 or the morning of January 9. Instead of mountain winds, the wind direction will be south-eastern. These winds relatively warm the weather. Due to this, there is a possibility of increase in temperature.
