This western disturbance is weak, which is likely to be seen in the form of light rain in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar, the Meteorological Department has expressed. Due to low temperatures, snowfall can be expected in areas at altitudes above three thousand meters. But that too will be light. This disturbance is going to remain active till Wednesday. Now after this, an eye will be kept on the next western disturbance, which may possibly be effective in bringing rain.

According to GIC Meteorological Centre, the maximum temperature was recorded at 19 and minimum at eight degrees Celsius.
Nainital: The influx of tourists in the city over the weekend was normal. There was a huge crowd for two days on the Republic Day weekend and hotels and guest houses were packed, but on this weekend only 10 to 30 percent of the rooms in hotels were booked. According to guest house operator Raj Kunwar and others, the influx of tourists may increase on Saturday.
