Dubai's new feat, gold road will be built

This spectacular and grand plan is part of a development built specifically for the emirate's jewelery industry, called 'The Gold District'. This glamorous place, designed to attract tourists, shoppers and professionals, is going to become a main attraction, because a road made of gold (Gold Street in Dubai) will be ready here.
The world's first gold street
According to media reports, the road made of gold in Dubai will be the first of its kind in the world. The purpose of this road is to make Dubai the world's largest center in the gold and jewelery business. Gold Street was announced by property developer Ithra Dubai as part of the official launch of Dubai Gold District. The purpose-built district will include over 1,000 retail shops across gold, jewellery, perfumery, cosmetics and lifestyle categories.
Indian retailers will also be included
Retailers will include Jawahara Jewellery, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Al Romaijn and Tanishq Jewellery, and Joyalukkas has announced plans for a 24,000 square foot flagship store, which will be its largest store in the Middle East. More than 1,000 guest rooms will also be built across six hotels, providing easy access for international guests, buyers and trade partners. Facility will be available.
Where will this street be?
The street to be made of gold will be in Dera area of Dubai. According to media reports, Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), which comes under the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), said, "Gold is an important part of Dubai's cultural and commercial identity, symbolizing our heritage, prosperity and enduring spirit of enterprise." Khaja said that through this special place, we will not only celebrate that heritage, but also create a world built on creativity and sustainability. Will also give it a new look for the new era.

According to Khaja, “As we diversify our tourism and retail sectors, Dubai Gold District will play a key role in attracting international visitors, investment and strengthening our identity as the world’s best city to visit, live and work.”
