About twenty people, including the state president of Hindu Raksha Dal, who were marching to Kotdwar in the Mohammad Deepak case, were stopped by the police at Nataraj Chowk. The police took everyone to the police station. The police have registered a case against three people, including the state president of the party, for making inflammatory statements in front of media persons in Kotwali.

Hindu Raksha Dal had announced to go there on Thursday in connection with the Mohammad Deepak case going on in Kotdwar. The police was alert about this. State party president Lalit Sharma along with his colleagues left for Kotdwar from Dehradun via Rishikesh. The police team stopped him and about twenty workers near Natraj Chowk.

After this the police reached the police station with everyone. A case was filed in this case by Kotwali's Additional Sub Inspector Manish Panwar. Told that he was posted as day officer on Thursday. At around 1.30 pm, State President of Hindu Raksha Dal Lalit Sharma, Mahant Anupam Giri of International Dharma Pracharak Mandal, religious preacher Shiv Mohan Baba etc. were brought from Natraj Chowk to Kotwali in view of peace and law and order.

These people were preparing to go to Kotdwar. Later he refused to go to Kotdwar. When he started leaving from the police station, he made provocative and objectionable remarks in front of the journalists present in front of the gate of the complex. In which it was said that whoever cuts the neck of Deepak Mohammed will be given a reward of Rs 5.51 lakh and abuses were made. In the case, the police have registered a case against the three accused on charges of disturbing social harmony, spreading enmity in the society, and making objectionable remarks to instigate any person.

Inspector Kailash Chand Bhatt, in-charge of Rishikesh Kotwali said that a case has been registered and investigation is being done.
