Digital Desk, New Delhi. A heart-wrenching news has come from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. There was a stir in Six Ghara Kamal Nagar under Nishatpura police station area on Thursday afternoon when the body of a woman was recovered from a water tank built on an empty plot. Since the dead body was found in a closed box, from above it appears to be a case of murder. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
The smell was coming from the water tank
The police emptied the water in the tank as a precautionary measure. Nishatpura police station in-charge Manoj Patwa said that at around 3.30 pm on Thursday afternoon, a person living in the area informed the police. He told that a strong foul smell was coming from the water tank built in the vacant plot. When he reached near the tank, he found the lid open and a box was seen inside. After this he immediately informed the police.
The police, who reached the information, took out the box from the tank with the help of cleaning workers. The lid of the box was open, inside which a woman's body was found. According to the station in-charge, the body appeared to be about three to four days old and was in a state of decomposition.
Identity of woman found in locked box
Initial inspection revealed that the woman was wearing palazzo. He has a tattoo of Deepak on his hand and also has 26 May 1992 inscribed on it, which is believed to be his date of birth. To identify the woman, the police has disseminated information related to her appearance through social media. At present the police is investigating the matter. A case of murder will be registered after receiving the post-mortem report.
