Woman attacked head constable in Geeta Colony.
Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. A local woman attacked a policeman who arrived on the information of a fight in Geeta Colony area. The woman assaulted the head constable and bit him on his shoulder. He was taken to the hospital in injured condition. The police registered a case against the woman on Monday and arrested her. A PCR call of a fight was received on Sunday night at Pushta Road in Geeta Colony area of the police station. When both Head Constable Ankur and Constable Javed reached the spot, a dispute was going on between the two parties and a crowd had gathered. Both the policemen were trying to pacify both the parties. It is alleged that then a woman named Rupa attacked Ankur. While assaulting Ankur, the woman sank her teeth into his shoulder. While tearing Ankur's uniform, he also abused him. During this, constable Javed also suffered minor injuries.
People kept making videos, did not help the police
During the fight with Ankur, the constable somehow freed him and himself from there and after informing the top officials, the force was called there. During the fight between the two, the youth present there kept recording videos but no one helped them. Later, the force reached the spot and pacified the crowd, after which the situation returned to normal. Deputy Commissioner East Delhi Abhishek Dhania said that a case has been registered and the accused woman has been arrested. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
