Jagran correspondent Mayorpur (Sonbhadra). A domestic dispute took a violent turn late Wednesday evening in Kundadih village of Mayorpur police station area. During a dispute, a woman beat her own brother-in-law to death with a cot bed. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Anil, son of Raja Ram. After the incident, the police took immediate action and arrested the accused woman Saroj Devi on Thursday.
The police have registered a case of culpable homicide against the accused and sent him to jail. It is being told that the mental condition of deceased Anil was not good. His younger brother has gone to Gujarat for employment. On Wednesday evening, there was a dispute between Anil and Saroj Devi over some issue, which escalated to such an extent that the woman got angry and hit Anil on the head with the cot bed. Due to serious injury, Anil's condition became critical on the spot.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and immediately took the injured to CHC Mayorpur, where the doctors declared him dead. After this, the police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. Investigation of the matter is ongoing.
