Work of composite steel girder started for railway over bridge between Iqbalpur and Roorkee stations. Awakening
Jagran correspondent, Haridwar. The construction of Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor is in the final stages. Meanwhile, NHAI has expedited the work of connecting Haridwar with this corridor. Work has started on composite steel girder for the railway over bridge between Iqbalpur and Roorkee stations on the Link Expressway connecting the corridor to Haridwar. The completion of the construction of this link expressway will provide a lot of convenience to the people of the district.
Most of the people of Delhi-NCR and Dehradun are waiting for the completion of the work of Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor. With this, the distance between these two cities will reduce to about two and a half hours. From this expressway, a 50.70 km long link expressway i.e. Haridwar Spur is also being built for Haridwar.
This link expressway will reach Haridwar from Halgoya village of Saharanpur via Roorkee after crossing Bahadrabad toll plaza. Some work is still left on the entry and exit built near Halgoya village.
Even as we move forward from here, construction work is going on. The Muzaffarnagar-Saharanpur highway and the Saharanpur-Meerut section of the railway fall on the way here. There is still a lot of work left on this. An interchange is being built on Muzaffarnagar-Saharanpur State Highway.

Work is also going on on the Haridwar-Dehradun railway line. A lot of work is still left on the railway over bridge to be built on the Haridwar-Dehradun railway line. An interchange will be built with Roorkee bypass in future. Construction work is going on near the bypass. Construction is also going on on the bridge being built over Ganganahar. Road work continues after crossing Ganganahar. Work going on at a fast pace in Bahadarabad: The greenfield section will be completed near Badhedi Rajputan of Bahadarabad area and here too the construction work is going on at a fast pace. Another elevated section will start from here. A lot of work has been done from here till Bahadarabad Toll Plaza. The construction of the flyover being built after Bahadarabad Toll Plaza is going on.
