Jagran correspondent. Yamunanagar. The body of a person was found in a drain near Chandpur underpass on Friday morning. Police identified the body as that of Rambir, 50, a resident of Veena Nagar in the camp, who was missing for three days. No injury marks were found on the body, while the relatives neither made any allegations nor gave any complaint.
The police handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem. Cleaning work was going on in the drain near Chandpur underpass. When the sanitation workers arrived on Friday morning, they saw a dead body in the drain. He informed the police. The police took the body out of the drain. Gandhinagar police station in-charge Jagbir Singh said that Rambir's missing report was already registered in the police station. The police was searching for him.
When the body was found, the relatives were called to the spot, who identified the body as Rambir from the clothes and other identification. According to relatives, Rambir had not returned after leaving home three days ago. No external injury marks were found on Rambir's body. In such a situation, the cause of death will become clear only after the post mortem report comes. At present, to find out whether it is an accident, murder or coincidental death, the police are investigating at their level keeping all the aspects in mind.

Police station in-charge Sumit Kamboj told that Jod Singh was missing for three days. The police had registered a case on the complaint of relatives. Police and relatives were searching for Jod Singh, whose body was found in Johad of the village. It has come to light from relatives that Jod Singh was mentally disturbed. It is feared that he slipped and fell in the pond and died due to drowning in water. After post-mortem, the viscera has been sent for examination to find out the exact cause of death.
