YEIDA Launches Scheme For Allotment Of Remaining Plots In Medical Device Park, Till When Will People Get The Benefits Of The Scheme?

YEIDA has launched a new scheme for allotment of 22 remaining plots in the Medical Device Park, Greater Noida.

Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. YEIDA has launched a scheme for allotment of remaining plots in Medical Device Parks. The scheme comprises 22 plots of 1000, 2100 and 5940 square metres. This scheme will remain open for one month.

YEIDA has already allotted 101 plots in the Medical Device Park being built on 350 acres in Sector 28. More than 200 plots are proposed in five phases. One unit has already been commissioned. The central government has set a deadline of March 2026 for the development of the medical device park, however YEIDA has sought an extension of one year. This is the second plot scheme launched by YEIDA in the current financial year for leftover plots.

Thirteen types of labs are to be built in the Medical Device Park. The tender process for purchasing equipment for these labs is going on. Meanwhile, YEIDA will sign an agreement with the Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology for the Gamma Radiation Lab. After this, the process of selecting a company for the Gamma Radiation Lab will be started.

Electronics-based medical devices will be manufactured in the Medical Device Park. This is the first medical device park in the state. The central government has given a grant of Rs 100 crore for this project. Medical device parks are also being built in Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
