Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. Delhi University (DU) has extended the application deadline for various scholarship schemes for the 2025-26 academic year. Eligible students can now apply through the official portal of the university till December 22, 2025. Earlier, the deadline was November 30, 2025.
The university administration has advised students to carefully read the rules, eligibility criteria and application process of the concerned scheme before applying. Delhi University runs several book grant and merit-based financial assistance schemes for undergraduate students. These include Dr. V.K. RV Rao Endowment Book Grant, Shri Prem Prakash Award, Delhi University and College Employees Union Book Grant, Delhi State Cooperative Federation Book Grant, and Pandit Manmohan Nath Dhar Book Grant.
In addition, the Sardar Kartar Singh Grover Memorial Book Grant, the Ganga Sant Book Grant, the Satish Batra Memorial Book Grant, and the Dr. S.L. Applications have also been invited for Hora and Mrs. V. Hora Endowment Book Grant, Memorial Scholarship. There are also special support schemes for students with visual impairments, including the Shri Moti Lal Kaul Aima Memorial Book Grant, the Shri Ram Lubhaya Book Grant, and the Vijendra-Sharmila Chopra Book Grant. Apart from this, financial assistance will be provided to students under Pandit Udho Ram Rampal Charitable Trust Scholarship and Balak Ram Scholarship.
