Young man cheated of Rs 41 lakh in the name of trading (symbolic photo)
Jagran correspondent, Meerut. Cyber thugs ruined the career of a young man working in an IT company. After investing Rs 5 lakh in online trading, it showed a profit of Rs 20 lakh. Then the young man left the job from the IT company. After that an additional amount of Rs 41 lakh was collected from the young man. After the youth deposited the money, the cyber thugs switched off their mobiles. Then the victim came to know that he was cyber defrauded. The police registered a case and started investigation.
Nitin Kumar, resident of Uplaihada village of Partapur police station, used to work in an IT company in Noida. A link came on Nitin's WhatsApp number in October. There was talk of launching a book on the link. Nitin joined the said link. After that a call came from a person named Anurabh Thakur from Mumbai.
Told that Alliance is trading in three categories. In A category one can trade from Rs 1 to Rs 50 lakh. In B category, you can invest between Rs 50 lakh to Rs 2 crore and in C category, you can invest Rs 2 crore to Rs 5 crore. For that, go to the website of Maybarik Camp and create your account.
Nitin downloaded the Mebrick app. After that went to the website and opened your account. Transferred an amount of Rs 5 lakh from his HDFC Bank account in Gurugram to the account maintained on the website. Within a month, an amount of Rs 20 lakh was deposited in his account through trading.
After making a profit of Rs 20 lakh in a single month, Nitin left the job from the IT company of Gurugram. Then came the era of Anurabh Thakur from Alliance. Told that if Nitin's work is good, he is going to be promoted from A category to B category. Businessmen from many big cities are included in the said category.
Then Nitin was told to deposit another amount of Rs 40 lakh in his account. So that the account balance can exceed Rs 50 lakh. On November 26, Nitin deposited an amount of Rs 41 lakh in three installments in the website account. Since then, his account from the Mebrick app has been closed.
Then Nitin came to know that he had been cyber cheated. Nitin informed about the matter in the cyber police station. Inspector Mahesh Rathore said that a case of cyber fraud has been registered on Nitin's complaint.
