Samvad Sutra, Mahuadand (Latehar). A case of brutally beating a young man to death by three friends over a dispute regarding contract has come to light in village Arahans of Netarhat police station area.
The deceased has been identified as Sanju Kujur (35 years), father Augustus Kujur, village Arahans, police station Netarhat. According to the information received, on Wednesday the accused beat up Sanju Kujur.
In injured condition, Sanju himself went to CHC Netarhat for treatment, where after first aid he was given medicine and returned home. But late at night his health suddenly deteriorated and he died. As soon as information about the incident was received, the relative informed Netarhat police station.
The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. The relatives allege that even before this, Sanju had been beaten up several times by the accused, but every time Sanju had not filed any written complaint.
Police investigation has revealed that the reason for the murder was an ongoing dispute in the village regarding contracting. Due to this rivalry, the accused committed the crime. In this case, the police have arrested Mathura Bajia (25 years), Vivek Lakra (18 years) and a minor (16 years). The police have conducted the post-mortem of the deceased's body and are investigating the matter thoroughly.
