In the case of the body of 21-year-old Shivkumar of New Model Town Extension being found in the canal, the Urban Estate police station conducted the post-mortem at the Civil Hospital on Sunday morning. The post mortem revealed that the young man died due to a broken neck bone.
However, the police will send the viscera to the lab for testing. The exact cause of death will be known after the report comes from there. The police handed over the body to the relatives after post-mortem. Police is working on every aspect in this matter.
Police are also investigating the message sent by Shivkumar to his friend Yogesh on internet media. Even relatives are not speaking openly about this matter. On Saturday evening, Shivkumar's body was found near Dabra Road Canal Bridge in Satroad Sub Branch.
Diwan Singh, a resident of Ramayan village, told that nephew Shivkumar lived near his aunt Santosh in New Model Town Extension for about seven years. He was doing B.Sc. from the city's government college. He had filled the VLD form before taking admission in the college but he was not selected.
