Vinod Chaudhary, Kurukshetra. On the New Year, buildings of 1019 government primary schools across the state will be seen shining. For these buildings, Rs 20 crore 10 lakh 42 thousand have been released by the Director General of Primary Education Department.
With this amount, the buildings of these schools will be repainted. School buildings will be cleaned and will have a new look. These include maximum 340 schools in Nuh district and least one school in Mahendragarh district.
This also includes 11 primary school buildings of Kurukshetra and 58 primary school buildings of Karnal. It is noteworthy that the schools across the state had sent their demands regarding repair, maintenance and other needs of school buildings.
In view of this, an amount of Rs 20.10 crore has been released from the annual budget by the Directorate General of Primary Education Department for whitewashing school buildings.
Maximum 340 schools of Nuh and one school of Mahendragarh are included in this list. Maximum 340 schools of Nuh district have been included, while only one school of Mahendragarh district has been included. This list includes 8 schools of Ambala, 72 of Faridabad, 92 of Gurugram, 58 of Karnal, 78 of Palwal and 64 of Panipat.
