Ayushman Pandey, Lucknow. The layers of the Medicos group associated with KGMU and the criminal network that has been running for years are now being exposed one by one. Dr. Rameezuddin Nayak, arrested on serious charges like rape, illegal abortion and religious conversion, has got two laptops recovered from his house during remand.
He has saved 13 years' worth of data in a laptop. This data not only contains complete records of his personal activities, but also includes suspicious contacts associated with the Medicos Group and obscene videos of many girls. Police say that this data can prove to be the backbone of the entire network. Data will be recovered with the help of forensics.
At 1 pm on Monday afternoon, Chowk police took Rameezuddin Nayak on remand for 48 hours. He was asked 40 questions during the five-hour long interrogation on Monday, while the interrogation continued on Tuesday also. So far, more than 80 questions have been asked in a total of 13 hours.
During the interrogation, on the behest of Rameez, the police recovered two laptops, in which extremely objectionable and shocking content was found. According to police sources, Rameez used to save his every activity digitally for the last 13 years.
Whichever girl he came in contact with, he would make an obscene video of her and save it. The recovered data found videos of more than ten girls, including those of his first wife as well as other girls.
Police believe that these videos were used for blackmailing and creating pressure. In this case, police officials say that the recovered laptop has been sent for forensic investigation.
Not only this, considering the amount and sensitivity of the data, the police have indicated that if necessary, Rameez's remand can be taken again. At present the Chowk police is looking at the entire matter as a big criminal network.
Detailed data of call girls, maintained silence on the question: Rameez had allegedly stored detailed data of call girls in a separate folder of the laptop. These include name, contact and other information. However, Rameez has maintained silence on the question for what purpose he used these callers.
Police suspect that this data may have been used in illegal activities and operation of big rackets. Investigation has also revealed that Rameez was a drug addict and many times he used to carry out objectionable activities while intoxicated.
Name for three people in Medicos Group, they will be interrogated
During interrogation, the police also asked Rameez about the Medicos Group of KGMU, but he did not give any clear answer in this regard. However, names of three helpers have been taken.
Police believe that through the Medicos Group, his influence extended to medical students and other youth, which he used to expand his network. At this point, the police have found many important clues, which are being technically investigated.
Will be admitted to jail today
Inspector Chowk Nagesh Upadhyay, who is investigating the case, has not shared any information. He says that remand was taken. Will be filed before the end of 1 pm on Wednesday.
