Alex Stein makes fun of Hindu rituals

Digital Desk, New Delhi. American comedian and YouTuber Alex Stein's satirical speech at a Plano City Council meeting caused an uproar when he mocked Hindu religious beliefs and customs. After this some members of the Indian-American community left the place.

Alex Stein is a conservative media personality known for his provocative satirical content. He came to the council meeting wearing Indian clothes. He was wearing a yellow kurta, black shorts, slippers and a red tilak on his forehead. Introduced himself as an Indian boy and then made comments mocking Hindu customs.

He repeatedly referred to cow worship and the use of cow dung and urine in a humorous manner. Also talking about Indian-origin FBI Director Kash Patel, he said that the Indian-American community is proud of his appointment.

Plano Mayor John B. Welcoming the Munns, Stein said they are in a difficult situation because the Muslim Brotherhood is targeting them for eating foods that are not respected in Western culture, but are revered in Indian culture as having many healing properties.

Thanked US President Donald Trump for appointing Kash Patel as FBI Director, praised Patel's relationship with local music star Alexis Wilkins and said that they hoped for a real Indian marriage. Describing himself as a young boy from the holy land of far away India, he denounced the worship of cows in Hindu culture and the use of their urine and dung as 'healing products'.

“I worship cows but cow is not a common animal, cow is the mother of God, her milk is nectar, her urine, cow urine is the purest medicine straight from the Gods and her dung is sacred gold, a blessing for health and happiness.”

Mocking herself, she said, "Complained about the HOA in the beautiful city of Plano that is acting like total junkies and the Muslim Brotherhood in their neighborhood is constantly bullying them. They come to my house, knock on my door, yell at me. Stop drinking cow pee, stop eating cow dung, they think my sacred activities are dirty and they are filing a police complaint against me." Are, and my HOA will fine me."

He concluded by asking whether Plano was still a land of liberty and freedom of religion, framing his demonstration as a plea for religious tolerance. Finally, he poked fun at Indian-Americans supporting Kash Patel, saying, "He's saving Epstein's victims, but you know, so what, at least we have an Indian."

Attack on Indian-American community

The comedian's skit comes at a time when anti-Indian hatred is on the rise in the United States, especially in MAGA circles. This has been made worse by Donald Trump's imposition of strict immigration laws aimed at combating illegal immigration into the country, with GOP supporters claiming that Indians come to steal American jobs at very low wages.

However, during his tenure, this has turned into a call-out and social media trolling of the Indian-American community living in the country. Even leaders holding high positions were not spared. Vivek Ramaswamy, Kash Patel and Nikki Haley have all been victims of xenophobic comments.
