Incident in Jashpur district, teenager admitted to Raipur hospital, condition critical (indicative picture)
JNN, Jashpurnagar. In Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh, a 17-year-old minor tribal girl was kidnapped and gang-raped. The accused, while trying to kill him to hide their identity, strangled him and thought him dead and ran away. The villagers returning through the forest found her lying in an unconscious state.
ASP Rakesh Patanwar told that the victim was returning home after watching a drama in the village. Meanwhile, two unknown accused kidnapped him and took him to the forest and committed the crime. When the girl did not return home, her relatives started searching for her.
Meanwhile, some people passing through the forest saw the unconscious teenager and informed the police. The girl has been referred to Ambikapur for better treatment. Police have registered a case against two unknown accused in this matter.
Pathalgaon SDOP Dhruvesh Kumar Jaiswal said that the health of the girl is not stable yet. He will be interrogated as soon as his health improves. A special team has been formed to arrest the accused.
