Jagran correspondent, Kasganj. A Nilgai attacked a farmer who had gone to guard the crops on his farm in village Sewar of Dholna Kotwali area. He has been admitted to the district hospital in injured condition. Where he died during treatment. Kotwali police has conducted post-mortem of the body.
40-year-old Ravendra Kumar, son of Narendra Pal Singh, resident of village Sewar, had gone to guard the mustard and wheat crops standing in his fields at eight o'clock on Wednesday evening. Then the Nilgai present in the field attacked the farmer. Due to which he got seriously injured and fell on the ground.
When he did not return home for a long time, his relatives became worried. When they reached the fields, they saw that Ravendra Kumar was lying in the fields in an injured state. The relative admitted the injured to the district hospital for treatment. Where he died during treatment. Uncle Ram Khiladi told that Ravendra was married to Nirma Devi from village Nojalpur of district Etah 17 years ago.
They have two daughters, 12-year-old Navya and six-year-old Deeksha. Those who are in bad condition while crying. Inspector Govind Vallabh Sharma said that the farmer died due to the attack of Nilgai. A postmortem of the body has been done. Further action is underway.
