New Wave Of Technical Skills In UP: 10 Lakh Youth Will Get Training In AI And Cyber Security

State Bureau, Jagran Lucknow. In the digital era, important steps have been taken towards technically empowering the youth, especially women. While more than 41 thousand people have been trained so far under the 'AI Pragya' program, now a special initiative for women 'AI Career for Women' (AICW) has been started in collaboration with Microsoft. Under this, AI labs are being established in major engineering institutes of the state.

‘AI Pragya’ program has been started in the state with the aim of training 10 lakh people in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cyber security. There is special emphasis on increasing women's participation in this. In this sequence, AICW has been started.

Under this, modern AI labs are being established in engineering institutes of the state. Its process has started in Lucknow-based Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Kanpur's HBTU. The objective of AI Pragya program is to make youth and different sections of the society proficient in new technology, so that they can get better opportunities in the changing digital era.

Neha Jain, State Coordinator of AI Pragya, says that to strengthen the program, global companies like Microsoft, Google, Intel, IBM and OneMOneB have been made partners. With their cooperation, practical and employment-oriented training is being given to different sections.

The training is divided into three levels. At the initial level, basic information is being given through courses like ‘AI for All’ and ‘Fundamentals of AI’. The intermediate level involves practical use of AI tools and the advanced level involves engineering students to build and train AI models.
