Digital Desk, New Delhi. India successfully test-fired a stealthy submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) on 23 December 2025. It is being told that this test was conducted in the Bay of Bengal.
Actually, this test was of nuclear-capable K-4 missile. It was launched from Arihant-class submarine. No announcement was made in advance regarding this test. At the same time, NOTAM was also cancelled, so that confidentiality could be maintained. It is being claimed that this was done because Chinese surveillance ships were present in the area.
