All these dogs will be kept in shelter homes. The first shelter home will be built by the Municipal Corporation on one acre of land behind the ABC Center near Shakumbhari Vihar on Behat Road. First, one thousand dogs can be kept in the shelter home. Apart from this, four more shelter homes will be ready.

The first shelter home of the Municipal Corporation will be developed behind the ABC (Animal Birth Control) Center near Shakumbhari Vihar on Behat Road. About one acre of land has been identified for this. This shelter home to be built in the first phase will have arrangements to house about one thousand dogs.

Here, proper facilities for food, drinking water, medical treatment and care will be provided for the dogs. Dogs after sterilization will be kept in shelter homes for the rest of their lives. After the operation of this shelter home, four more shelter homes will be built in different areas of the city, so that all the identified stray dogs can be kept at a safe place.

It is noteworthy that people were in panic due to increase in incidents of stray dog ​​attacks in the district in the last few days. It became difficult for children, elderly people and women to leave their homes. The Municipal Corporation was continuously receiving complaints. Now with the start of the shelter home system, people will be able to get relief from the terror of dogs. The Supreme Court has issued instructions to get rid of the terror of dogs. Because dog terror is increasing in the area. The cases of dog bites are also increasing continuously. On the instructions of the Supreme Court, now the Municipal Corporation and Panchayat bodies will also have to give details of the incidents of dog bites in the area.

The report will have to tell where the number of stray dogs are and how many dogs have been removed. How many employees have been deployed for this work? This detailed report will be reviewed by the Central Government. The Municipal Corporation has also started work on making reports about dogs roaming in the wards.
