Auto damaged after tractor collision
Jagran correspondent, Kaushambi. There was a head-on collision between a tractor and an auto late Thursday evening near Saraiya turn of Sarai Akil area. Seven people of the same family traveling in an auto were seriously injured in the incident. With the help of passersby, everyone was admitted to CHC Sarai Akil for treatment.
The auto riders were going to attend a marriage function after booking the car. Due to the accident, the Purkhas-Prayagraj road was blocked for about half an hour. The police chased the tractor driver and caught him.
Amar Pal, resident of Sandwa village of Kaushambi area, told that his brother-in-law Harinandan resident of Guhauli's sister was getting married on Thursday. He was going to attend a marriage ceremony with his family by reserving an auto. A tractor coming from the front hit the auto at Saraiya turn near Bakodhwa village.
In the accident, along with Amarpal, his son Vinod Kumar, Pramod Kumar, Mithun son of the family Suresh, Kallu son Hansraj, Roshan son Ramdas and Udhoshyam were injured. Passersby who saw the incident admitted everyone to CHC Sarai Akil for treatment with the help of an ambulance.
Police station in-charge Veer Pratap Singh arrived after the information and caught the tractor along with the driver after chasing it for about four kilometers. SHO told that seeing the serious condition of Vinod Kumar, the doctors have referred him to the medical college. Due to the accident, the road was blocked for about half an hour.
