The matter is related to Saharsa Sadar police station case number 1329/2025. The accused was in judicial custody since November 18, 2025. On behalf of the state, APP opposed the bail plea saying that the accused tried to get a job by giving a false affidavit, whereas there are already three criminal cases registered against him, including the Arms Act case.

After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court granted regular bail keeping in mind the period of custody, nature of the allegation and age of the accused. The court ordered his release on a personal bond of Rs 10,000 and two sureties of the same amount.

Also, after the defense party expressed his desire to do social service, the court directed the accused to do service work for two hours in the morning and two hours in the evening every day for the next six months in the Matsyagandha temple, Saharsa, located near his house. During this time he will do work like cleaning and planting trees in or around the temple premises. The bail petition was disposed of with the above conditions.
