DEO Amarendra Kumar Gond
Jagran correspondent, Khagaria. Due to the initiative and activeness of DM Naveen Kumar and DEO Amarendra Kumar Gond, land has become available to 54 out of 72 schools in the district. DM Naveen Kumar had written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department on 20 December 2025 requesting him to send the list of land available to 54 landless schools. There was a demand to construct buildings with physical facilities for such schools.
It is not that there was no search for land earlier also, but due to lack of will and no positive action, land was not available. Many such schools without land and buildings are being tagged as local schools with buildings and classes are being conducted. Now with this step of the government, students will get their own building, where they can study.
How many landless schools got land in which blocks?
Land has been provided to maximum 13 schools of Chautham zone. At the same time, land has become available to a dozen schools of Khagaria Sadar zone. Land has been provided to a dozen schools in Alauli, seven in Beldaur, seven in Gogri, one in Mansi and two landless schools in Parbatta.
It is expected that soon after receiving the orders and instructions from the government, the building construction work of these 54 schools will start. This will facilitate the students to get quality education.
Out of 72 landless schools, land has become available to 54 schools. Information has been given to the headquarters in the light of the report of the zonal officers of the concerned zones. This is a commendable step for the district. -Amarendra Kumar Gond, District Education Officer, Khagaria.
