To ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience in transportation during the festival of Magh Mela and Makar Sankranti, 50 buses are being operated from the depot to Prayagraj and 10 from Kadipur. Corporation officials claim that even if the number of devotees increases, the frequency of buses on other routes will be reduced and the frequency of buses to Prayagraj will be increased.
Due to which the devotees will not face any inconvenience in reaching the destination. Four special trains of Prayagraj will also start operating from Wednesday.
Regular operation of 10 buses
10 buses are being operated daily from the depot for Prayagraj. These buses are making two trips daily. Apart from this, in view of the possibility of crowd of devotees, the corporation has deployed additional 60 buses with 52 seats each. So that the devotees do not face any problem.
Devotees will get bus service
Assistant Regional Manager Suresh Chandra Yadav said that devotees going to Ayodhya and Prayagraj will get regular bus service. Due to pressure from passengers, the frequency of buses to Prayagraj will be increased.
Three trains running daily for Prayagraj
Four special trains will operate for Magh Mela from Wednesday. One special train will run through the junction at 10.30 am, the second train at 2.30 pm, the third train at 10 pm and the fourth special train at 11 pm for Prayagraj. Apart from this, MEMU, Saryu Express and Manwar Sangam Express are being operated daily from Ayodhya to Prayagraj.
A rack has been erected in the yard
Chief Commercial Inspector Vivek Tripathi said that in view of Magh Mela, four special trains will operate from Wednesday. As the number of passengers increases, the racks parked in the yard will also be operated. Complete preparations have been made by the Railways.
