Woman's body found. (Awakening)
Jagran correspondent, Gumla. There was a sensation on Monday in Bhatoli village of Chainpur police station area of the district when the dead body of a 65-year-old woman was seen lying on the roadside.
The deceased has been identified as Shanti Devi (husband Bandhu Rautiya), resident of Bhatoli. In connection with the incident, the family members of the deceased have expressed suspicion of murder.
The deceased's son-in-law Suresh Rautiya and daughter-in-law Bindiya Kumari have suspected that Shanti Devi has been murdered on suspicion of witchcraft.
He has expressed suspicion of murder on three youths of the same village, Baleshwar Rautiya, Lalmohan Rautiya and Dharamraj Rautiya. As soon as information about the incident was received, Chainpur police station in-charge Arvind Kumar reached the spot with the police force.
The police have done Panchnama of the body and sent it to Gumla for post-mortem. Meanwhile, based on the allegations of the relatives, the police have taken the three suspects into custody, interrogated them and started the investigation.
