Even the huge success of Dhurandhar directed by Aditya Dhar could not make Ranveer Singh number 1. The actor was overtaken by none other than 68 year old actor Sunny Deol.
Sunny Paaji becomes number 1 by defeating Ranveer
Sunny Deol's Border 2 may be behind Dhurandhar but in one respect the actor has gone ahead of Ranveer Singh. He has secured his place at number 1 position by defeating Ranveer, Akshay Khanna, Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan. Actually, this week IMDb has released the list of most popular Indian celebrities, in which Sunny Deol is at number 1.
Sara Arjun overtakes Ranveer
Dhurandhar has four stars in this list. If you are thinking that Ranveer is the second most popular celebrity after Sunny? So you are wrong. The 20 year old actress Sara Arjun who has secured the second position is. Ranveer is at number seven in the list of popular Indian celebrities.

Whereas, Dhurandhar director is 10th, Rehman Dakat aka Akshay Khanna is 15th, Mardaani 3 actress Mallika Prasad Sinha is 21st, Varun Dhawan is 24th, Janaki Bodywala is 25th, Dhurandhar actress Saumya Tandon is 28th, Bhumi Pednekar is 34th, Samara Tijori is 36th, Rahi Anil Barve is 38th, R Madhavan is at 39th and Diljit Dosanjh is at 49th.

Dhurandhar is Ranveer Singh's highest grossing film. This film has done a business of more than 1300 crores worldwide. Recently, the teaser of the second part of the film was also released in which Ranveer's dashing look was seen. The film is releasing in theaters on 19 March 2026.
