Heavy vehicles parked on the roadside near Mira Glass.
Jagran correspondent, Firozabad. To prevent road accidents, a seven-member committee has been formed to mark holding areas (parking places) in the district. After the survey by the committee, the vehicles parked along the expressway, national highway and other routes will be parked in the holding area.
Action will be taken against those who do not follow the orders. People are becoming victims of road accidents due to reduced visibility due to fog in winter. A major reason for this is the vehicles parked on the sides of routes other than expressways and highways.
Taking this seriously, the government has issued orders to mark the holding area. For this, a committee has also been formed in the district. In which ADM Finance and Revenue Vishu Raja, SP City Ravi Shankar Prasad, ARTO Rajesh Rajput, XEN Public Works Department, CO Traffic besides officials of Municipal Corporation, Municipality, Nagar Panchayat are included. ARTO said that vehicles coming from behind often collide with vehicles parked illegally on the road or on their sides. This often leads to serious accidents. Therefore, after completely emptying the roads, vehicles will be parked in the holding area.
