Major fire in liquor store
Jagran correspondent, Jalandhar. On the second day of the New Year, news of a massive arson has come to light from Pratap Bagh Central Town. A fire broke out in a liquor vend here at around four in the morning due to a short circuit. At the time of the fire, a young man was sleeping inside the contract, who gathered people by making noise.
4 fire engines extinguished the fire
The smoke of the fire became visible far and wide within a short time, upon which passersby immediately informed the fire department. As soon as the information was received, the fire department team reached the spot and started the work of extinguishing the fire. The fire department employees first safely pulled out the young man trapped inside the contract, then after a lot of effort, brought the fire under control with the help of four water vehicles.

Sachin, a young man who works on contract, said that he was sleeping during the incident. Suddenly he felt warm, when he woke up he saw that there was a fire near him. After this he started making noise and informed the owner of the contract.
Liquor stock worth lakhs of rupees destroyed
In this arson, liquor stock worth lakhs of rupees kept in the contract was burnt to ashes. According to fire department officials, the cause of the fire is being investigated. In the preliminary investigation, the cause of the fire is believed to be short circuit.
