The construction work of the new Municipal Corporation building being built in Jawahar Bhawan near Takhar Mahal intersection at a cost of about Rs 14 crore has now reached the final stage.
It is being constructed with the aim of making the meetings of councilors, municipal board and executive meetings dignified and smooth. This building will be a symbol of modern facilities and new technology. It will be launched in the new year. It is being prepared in front of the old house itself.

On Saturday, Municipal Commissioner Prem Prakash Meena inspected its premises. Taking stock of the progress of the construction work, he directed the engineering department to complete all the finishing works around Holi. The Municipal Commissioner clarified that the work of furniture, sitting chairs, lighting, sanitary fittings, glass and decoration should be done only with the products of high quality and renowned companies, so that the House can achieve world class recognition.

Municipal Commissioner told that M/s. The construction work being carried out by Trinity Buildtech started on 26 March 2025, while its completion date is scheduled for 25 March 2026. This building, being built on an area of approximately 4111.82 square meters, includes ground floor, first floor and second floor. Two councilor halls, Mayor and Municipal Commissioner rooms, meeting hall, staff room, lift and toilets are being built on the ground floor. There will be a grand assembly hall and lounge area with 188 seats on the first floor, while two additional councilor halls are proposed on the second floor. L
Mayor Prashant Singhal said that the construction of the new house is the golden achievement of the tenure of this board. The decisions here will help in the development of the city.
