A young man preparing for NEET in Prayagraj committed suicide by hanging himself.
Jagran correspondent, Prayagraj. 23-year-old Nitish Kumar, who lived on rent in a room on the second floor of Kullu Market near Bajrang Chauraha Allapur intersection in the city, committed suicide by hanging himself late on Friday night. Before this, he wrote a three-page suicide note, in which he wrote some personal things. Georgetown Police has seized his mobile phone along with the suicide note.
Nitish lived near Bajrang intersection of Allapur.
Vijay Bahadur Singh, resident of Borra Sultanpur under Raniganj police station of Pratapgarh district, is a retired accountant. Nitish Kumar was the fourth among his five children. He lived on rent in a room on the second floor of Kullu Market located near Bajrang Square, Allapur. Another young man also lived with him.
Call from family not received
Along with preparing for NEET, Nitish also worked part time in a private hospital located in Civil Lines. Here, a day or two ago his room partner went somewhere for some work. Nitish was alone in the room. On Friday night, his family members called him several times, but the phone was not received. He got scared by this.
Relatives reached here from Pratapgarh, dead body was hanged
When the relatives reached here on Saturday morning, the door of the room was open. Nitish's dead body was hanging from a noose inside. Everyone was stunned to see this. A crowd of students living in nearby rooms gathered. The forensic team along with Georgetown police reached the spot.
The suicide note was written on one page in Hindi and two in English.
Police found a three-page suicide note from the room. In this, the first page was written in Hindi and two pages in English. The names of the parents were written in the first page, while in the other two pages Nitish had written some personal things. He also wrote down the reasons for his problem point by point. There were some names in it also. When the police asked the relatives of the deceased about this, they could not tell anything.
Police will take further action on the complaint
ACP Colonelganj Rajeev Yadav says that a suicide note has been found, but Nitish has written some personal things in it. If the family members lodge a complaint then further action will be taken.
