State Bureau, Lucknow. The academic calendar for the academic session 2026-27 has been released for all the government, aided and private sector polytechnic institutions of the state.
Now studies, examinations and results will be completed on time as per the fixed calendar, so that students do not face any problem in further studies and employment. 90 days of study will be mandatory in every semester. Till now, due to lack of regular academic calendar, students got less time.
The studies of newly admitted students will also start from July 1. With regular academic sessions, students will get the opportunity to complete the syllabus in a phased manner and time management will also be easier for teachers. With this, the process of examination and evaluation will also be conducted smoothly.
In the order issued by Narendra Bhushan, Additional Chief Secretary of Technical Education, it has been said that the academic session was affected due to the Corona period, due to which the students had to face many problems. To avoid these problems, a fixed timetable has now been implemented, so that students can complete their education on time.
According to the regulations of the Council of Technical Education, minimum 90 effective academic days will be mandatory in each semester. Instructions have been given to the Director of Technical Education to strictly follow this calendar in all polytechnic institutions, so that there is no delay in studies, examinations and results.
This time the academic session will be-
Readings from 1st July to 30th October in odd semester:
Study of newly admitted students: From 1st July Date of filling examination form: 1st to 15th October Theoretical examinations: 1st to 20th November Practical examinations: 21st November to 5th December Result declared: 31st December
Readings from 15th December to 15th April in even semester:
Date of filling examination form: 1st to 12th February, Theoretical examinations: 20th April to 10th May, Practical examinations: 11th to 20th May, Result declared: 30th June.

Study: 1st July to 20th March Examination, evaluation and other process: After March Result declared: By 30th June
